You have several choices on how we will approach the repairing of your instrument: Woodwinds can start with playing condition (PC) which would include replacing pads, corks, springs as needed to restore instrument to working order. Repad includes all the above plus remove all keys, wash body, clean all hinges and pivots, replace key corks up to 5 and replace all pads. Mechanical Overhaul, remove all keys, degrease: throughly clean and sterilize: replace all pads, corks, felts, and needed springs. Complete Overhaul, all the above plus buff keys and replace springs. (Sax-strip, buff as well as relacquer). Minor case repair.
Brass, Playing Condition (PC), restore good valve or slide action. Lubricate tuning slides. Repair leaks and loose solder joints. Remove major dents. Complete Overhaul, Strip lacquer, degrease, remove all dents, buff and lacquer. Adjust slides and valves. Replace springs, felts and corks. Minor case repairs.
